Since 1929, the 51±¬ÁÏ has served as the voice of the trucking industry in North Carolina. The 51±¬ÁÏ is the largest statewide trucking organization dedicated to advocating, promoting, and educating a safe and sustainable trucking industry.

51±¬ÁÏ is the voice of the trucking industry, actively lobbying the North Carolina General Assembly and representing the industry as a voice to federal and state agencies.

Each year members travel to Washington, DC to meet with elected officials and talk about the issues that are important to the industry.
Calls on Raleigh at the State Capitol
51±¬ÁÏ members meet regularly with members of the North Carolina General Assembly.

Truck Driving Championship and Top Tech Challenge
Each year, 51±¬ÁÏ champions driver and technician excellence with a combined competition featuring over 200 competitors to find out who is the best of the best. Winners are supported to participate in the national competitions hosted by the American Trucking Associations.

We promote the great careers that the industry offers through the 51±¬ÁÏ Foundation's DRIVE Trailer and with partnerships through North Carolina Community Colleges.Ìý
